Dance studio
If you've been following me for a while, you'd know that I have ongoing shoots with a creative dance comapny in Melbourne called 'Travelart Dance Company'. Part of why I like doing dance shoots with them is the differece they bring to the table when it comes to doing dance imagery, compared to lets say, ballet. That's not to say I don't want to or like to shoot ballet dancers, but this is just different. For this shoot with TADC, we hired out a dance studio and set up a black muslin backdrop. The good thing about being in this space is that we had access to a myriad of different props which are used in dance classes and shows. All I had to do was set up the backdrop, make sure my lights are good, and roll in the props one by one and let the dancers do their thing.
